The SDWF is in need of donors to continue to educate students, engineers, community leaders and others. Agencies, foundations, corporations, institutions and individuals can not only provide monetary support but also in-kind support to the SDWF. Support can be for specific projects or for the general operation of the SDWF.

Why Donate?

The SDWF is independent from municipal, provincial and federal governments. It is controlled by a board of Canadian professionals who are passionate about promoting safe drinking water. Your tax deductible donation (donation receipts are issued for donations of $20.00 or more) enhances our ability to:

• Promote safe drinking water through supporting innovative research and development
  

• Increase awareness of health concerns from consumption of poor quality water to policymakers and the general public
  

• Act as a catalyst to ensure that appropriate action is taken to enable the provision of safe drinking water to rural residents
  

• Provide students with educational programs to develop critical thinking skills, which will empower them to become active members of their community
